Administration of the CPAA

The administrative support for the CPAA is based at Walton Hospital in Chesterfield. Two members of staff, both part-time, operate the administrative office - Denise Baxendale the Administrator who runs the CPAA and Jennifer Nephin the Administrative Assistant who assists Denise. Jennifer's main role is to ensure that information regarding regional meetings is circulated to members and liasing with the host for the meetings for the agenda and minutes. The main functions of the administrative team are as follows:

NATIONAL OBJECTIVES

1. To ensure that National Quarterly Meetings are effectively organised
2. Support and facilitate work of the CPAA Committee and Regional Representatives
3. Support the Regional Representatives on the organisation of the Regional Groups and sub-groups
4. Facilitate National Conferences

MEMBERSHIP

1. To ensure effective maintenance of membership records
2. Provide support and information to members
3. Effective invoicing of the membership
4. Maintaining and distributing of initial membership material

JOURNAL

1. Support the work of the editorial group
2. Produce and distribute the journal

FINANCE

1. Administering and monitoring the finances of the CPA Association
2. Liaison with the Treasurer and Bank
3. Maintenance of financial records
4. Managing the invoice system for the CPA Association

EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

1. Supporting liaison with other bodies
2. Handling queries to the CPAA
3. Circulate appropriate material from external bodies linked to CPAA activities
