These notes set out the main proposals of the new Mental Health Bill with a few comments on immediate matters of concern that occur to the MHAC Policy Team. This is therefore, an MHAC ‘line’ on the Bill.

The MHAC hope this will stimulate discussion amongst Commissioners on the proposals.
