  • Insertion of abuse question into assessment documentation (significant progress being made)
  • NHS Confederation briefing circulated to all trusts (done)
  • Formal invitations to participate to all CEOs/ Chairs (all SHA regions bar Eastern region)

What does DH/ NIMHE provide?

The DH and NIMHE will provide the following support to the project:

  • Learning outcomes of the pilot process
  • Provision of two day 'training the trainers' process to equip core trainers to cascade the one day sexual abuse training in their individual trusts
  • Briefing paper for planning purposes (and ultimately comprehensive Practice Guidance)
